Positive Deviance and BDSM
The traditional Church has historically been a place of acceptance and understanding. However, with the emergence of the modern age of fetish, many people are questioning whether or not the traditional church is still a place of acceptance and understanding when it comes to BDSM and positive deviance, this is why we founded The Church of Sinvention so many years ago.

BDSM (Bondage, Discipline, Dominance, Submission, and Sadomasochism) is a sexual and psychological practice that has become increasingly popular in recent years. It involves the consensual exchange of power, control, and pleasure between two or more people. Positive deviance is an approach to problem-solving that focuses on the strengths and resources within a community or organization, rather than its weaknesses and deficits.

The traditional church, however, has been slow to embrace these practices. There is a long-standing stigma surrounding what is perceived as a kink and PD, and many church leaders fear that these practices are incompatible with the teachings of the church. This fear, although unfounded, is understandable given the history of the church and its outdated views on sexuality. However, in recent years, the church has slowly begun to recognize the potential value that positive deviance and BDSM can bring to relationships and individuals. The Church of Sinvention accepts you and your positive deviance.

Our Church of Sinvention recognizes that BDSM and positive deviance can be a powerful tool for personal and spiritual growth. Many people use BDSM and PD as a way to explore their own identity and desires, as well as to build trust and intimacy with their partners. The church is also beginning to recognize the potential of these same therapeutic benefits. In particular, these practices can help individuals to process trauma, build resilience, and develop self-awareness.

Despite these potential benefits, there is still a long way to go before the old school church fully embraces BDSM and positive deviance. The old school church leaders need to be educated about the potential benefits that these practices can bring, and they need to be open to having conversations about them. The Church of Sinvention is a safe space for people to explore BDSM and positive deviance in a non-judgmental and supportive environment.

Ultimately, the church, in this modern age of fetish, needs to recognize that BDSM and PD can be powerful tools for personal and spiritual growth. Through education, open dialogue, and the creation of safe spaces, the church can become a place of acceptance and understanding including those who choose to explore these practices.
