Questions regarding currencies: Currency shown depends on where your I.P. address is based.

Handcrafting Lead Times and Order Dispatching

- All Sinvention branded items are handmade here in our highly specialized leather studios her in Stratford, Ontario Canada.   We are a very in demand micro-fetish team hand making gear to satisfy clients worldwide.   Currently there are only 2 leathersmiths handcrafting amazing gear so please be patient.

- Generally all items are made as per order, first come first serve. We generally quote 6 -10 weeks for handcrafting of Sinvention leather items. 
Orders may not take that long to handcraft but depending on size of order and time of year that quote may be accurate. 

- Please take of the lead times prior to placing your order.  

- Rush orders are rarely possible, please use the product inquiry form or send an email to ask if it is possible. If we are able to do so please note that a rush order fee will apply (depends on items ordered).  If you need an order by a specific date, please inquire before placing your order to ensure your needs can be met.

Order Status

You will receive an Order Confirmation email once your order is received. Please contact us if you do not receive a confirmation email.

You can login to your account to check on the Order Status at anytime, here is breakdown of each:

Processed: Order has be received and payment is being verified Payment Received: Payment has been verified

In Production: Order is now moving to be in cue to be hand made for you . You will receive an email when the order goes into production, it will remain "In Production" until the order is complete and this may take several weeks, depending on items ordered and time of year. Please refer to production lead time posted in product description.

Shipped: Once the order is dispatched we will update status to shipped and forward you your tracking information

Shipping Methods: Church of Sinvention ships very discretely in a plain box, always. Our return address will show as: from WLC or Ware Leather Corporation and we use generic terms for customs declarations.

We do our best to offer economical shipping options, we apply our volume discounts to shipping dues and only charge actual shipping dues with no handling fees.

We use Canada Post / UPS / and DHL for Shipping and you may read a general overview of the shipping methods here:

CANADIAN SHIPMENTS:

All orders exceeding $200 CAD (sub total pre-tax) are shipped for FREE within Canada via Canada Post.

The Church of Sinvention uses Canada Post Expedited Parcel method for FREE shipments. These "Free Shipping" parcels are fully insured up to $1000 CAD and include a tracking number. The tracking number will be sent to the email address attached to your Church of Sinvention account directly from Canada Post upon parcel dispatch.

Unfortunately, at this time, we do not provide weekend delivery. Church of Sinvention and/or Canada Post have no control over delays due to parcel mis-handling once it leaves or studios. Canadian orders that do not exceed $200 (sub total pre-tax) qualify for $10+tax flat rate shipping via Expedited Parcel. These "Flat Rate" parcels are fully insured up to $1000 CAD and include a tracking number. The tracking number will be sent to the email address attached to your Church of Sinvention account directly from Canada Post upon parcel dispatch.

Please contact us for faster methods of delivery (such as Xpresspost or overnight delivery). Orders with high dollar values exceeding $1000 CAD will be shipped via UPS Ground so that the parcel can be fully insured.

USA SHIPMENTS:

All orders exceeding $200 (sub total pre-tax) are shipped for FREE to the Continental USA via UPS Ground

For orders being delivered to a Post Office Box we will use Canada Post Expedited Parcel USA - value limit for insurance is $1000 These "Free Shipping" parcels are fully insured and include a tracking number. The tracking number will be sent to the email address attached to your Church of Sinvention account directly from UPS/Canada Post upon parcel dispatch. Unfortunately, at this time, we do not provide weekend delivery.

Church of Sinvention and/or Canada Post/ Or UPS have no control over delays due to Customs and clearing.

American orders that do not exceed $200 (sub total pre-tax) qualify for $10 flat rate shipping via UPS Ground. These "Flat Rate" parcels are fully insured and include a tracking number. The tracking number will be sent to the email address attached to your Church of Sinvention account directly from UPS upon parcel dispatch. Please contact us for faster methods of delivery if required. 

INTERNATIONAL SHIPMENTS:

We export our handmade leather gear to addresses around the world regularly. 
Please keep in mind that International shipments DO NOT QUALIFY "Free Shipping" 
Each order is calculated individually based on the  actual packed box weight / size of parcel and destination.
Once your order is packed and ready to go we will contact you with your shipping options and rates.
We will then send you a Paypal request for the shipping dues. Once paid we will ship out.
For international shipments we use Canada Post / UPS / DHL. We apply our volume discounts to the various rates to help you save.

* On average international shipping rates range from $35 - $150 CAD depending on weight / volume and value of order.
* Larger volume parcels or parcels of high dollar value (orders greater than $1000 value) may have higher rates.
* All importing taxes, fees, and duties are the responsibility of the addressee of the item (importer of record) and are based on the value of the goods purchased.
* All parcels are fully insured and feature online tracking.

** Please contact us in advance if you require a shipping quote prior to placing your order. Otherwise you will be contacted once the order is complete to choose from the various international options and rates.

We can send to a Postal box using Canada Post only (via either Tracked Packet or Xpresspost Parcel shipping)


Customs Declarations
To ensure the end users' privacy we always use the most generic export declarations possible. For instance on our Sinvention Leather products we ship under the Harmonized Tax code for "Custom Leather Accessory - Other" and that is how leather items will be itemized and declared. Other products are declared are on an individual basis. If you have specific concerns regarding the customs declarations and it's wording please contact us directly using the contact form.
Any shipment delays due to Importing Customs of the destination country are not the responsibility of ChurchofSinvention or Canada Post/UPS/DHL, these are beyond our control and solely at the discretion of the Customs department for the importing destination country. 
Please note that delays are more frequent during high volume seasons such as Christmas. If your order is time sensitive please note that a Customs delay is possible and you should allow a few extra days travel time to avoid any disappointment.
All importing taxes, fees, and duties are the responsibility of the addressee of the item (importer of record)
Any other customs issues will be the responsibility of the addressee of the item (importer of record). If you have questions regarding importing into your country - please direct them to your local Customs office. Each country is different.

We may be able to help if you are trying to track a lost order that has a tracking number, please contact our Customer Service department and allow 72 hours so that we can contact the carrier and begin a trace investigation.


Order Cancellation

To meet our online customers' expectations for quick delivery, orders for in-stock products are processed as quickly as possible and therefore you will need to contact Customer Service at sales@sinvention.com or call 519-273-3737 and speak to a representative to ensure you item has not already been shipped.

All Sinvention branded items are made by hand as per order. If you wish to cancel your order please do so within 48 hours. If it is past 48 hours please send us an email to see where your order is at.

If the items have been made and you still wish to cancel there is a 25% re-stocking fee that will be charged.

If your product has shipped you will need to refer to our Returns Policy for how that issue is handled.


Sinvention Warranty Policy

Sinvention will repair or replace any Sinvention made item free of charge under the following circumstances:

If the item has failed under normal usage. Normal usage is determined by us at the time you contact us for an RMA number or when we receive the item back at our studio.


We will not cover any item that has been abused or misused. Normal "wear and tear" and long term product use is not covered by this warranty.

Shipping costs are not covered by this warranty and are your responsibility.

Cancellation and Returns Policy

NEW INFO REGARDING THE PURCHASE OF SEX TOY ITEMS:

- Please be sure to wash your toy prior to first use
- In the event that you have a problem with your new toy after 30 days - you must make a warranty claim directly with the manufacturer
- Most sex toy brands have a limited warranty of 60 days, however 1 - 2 years is most common, Womanizer has a 5 year warranty and Satisfyer has a 15 year warranty.

Returns:
With prior approval from us a store credit may be issued on items returned in unused and new condition for any other reason within 10 days.  Any store credit will be issued once the product is received at our studio and has been inspected for use and damage. (Must be new in the box, unopened, unused, cannot have any odours such as cigarettes, pet smell etc.)
A 15% re-stocking fee will be deducted from the store credit value.  Return shipping costs are the responsibility of the customer.  We request that product returns to be shipped via the postal system only, with signature required, please email us the tracking number. Please contact us for more information prior to sending anything back.

Please check sizes or other requirements carefully when ordering.

For all non Sinvention branded items you can cancel your order within 48 hours after we have received it provided the order has not already shipped.  A refund will be processed less a 15% re-stocking fee.

To ensure the safety and health of our customers, we do not accept returns or exchanges on items that can constitute a health risk or any item that comes into contact with any bodily fluid. Once these items leave premises, we consider them to be used and non-returnable.

Due to the nature of Silicone Dildos, Ball and Phallic Gags, Floggers or Paddles, Custom and Made-to-Measure products, all sales of these items will be considered final.

Please contact us if you have a issue with a Sinvention branded item.  If the item has been used or damaged in any way we reserve the right to NOT issue the store credit and only ship the product back to you at your expense including an extra handling fee.

There are no returns or exchanges on custom orders

"Use of the product" includes but is not limited to leather being bent or creased top straps caused by the opening of any strap from any buckle or closure on the item.

Replacement Units
If a Church of Sinvention sex product is found to be defective within 30 days of the invoice date, CoS will provide a warranty replacement unit at no charge provided a replacement is available. We may request that you return the defective unit for quality assurance testing.

We do not issue cash, check, or credit card refunds - store credit only.

If you receive a damaged or incorrect item a Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) is required. To request an RMA, email Customer Service sales@sinvention.com or dial 519-273-3737 and speak to Customer Service.

RMA must be requested within 10 days of the invoice date. Products must be shipped in the original manufacturer's box and include all tags, etc. RMA number must be written clearly on the package.

Returns must be shipped via the POSTAL SYSTEM with a method that includes insurance, a tracking number and it must be sent with a Signature Required upon delivery.

All return shipping must be paid by the customer, and tracking information should be emailed to sales@sinvention.com - we must be notified via email of the tracking info so we may watch for the parcel.

RMAs are valid for 10 days only. Products received after this period may be refused. Store credit, if applicable, will be issued within 7-10 business days of complete receipt of shipment.

If your return is not due to our error, we will deduct the shipping costs from your store credit.

OTHER QUESTIONS AND FAQs:

SINVENTION BRAND:

- All items that we hand make will bear our Trademark / Logo somewhere on the item.  Generally we stamp the logo in a discreet location (under a strap etc. if possible) however there are items where the logo will be visible.  Please do not ask if we handcraft gear for you without our logo.  All items get stamped.  This is important and helps us identify genuine Sinvention brand items from knock off gear in the event that there is a warranty claim on one of our handmade items.

- Due to our team being smaller than normal since Covid19 we are unable to entertain most custom work requests as we are very very busy with standard item orders.

- Colour options: We offer our heavy bridle leathers in the following colours: Black, Tan, Burgundy OxBlood, Medium Brown, Light Pink.  These are the leathers that most of the "strap" portions of our gear are made from, ie. locking top straps etc. (We do still have very small limited quantities of heavy red, blue, bright pink and white leathers that are suitable for small items such as hog ties and quick clips, please inquire if you don't see that colour listed on an item)

Lining Leathers: Black, Red, Blue, Purple, Hot Pink, White. 

Hardware: Generally available in the following finishes of Silver look which is nickle plated steel, or solid brass or brass plated steel. 
We offer Stainless Steel on our Ballet Splints and the interchangeable rings on strap on harnesses. 

There are examples of all leather colours throughout our website.  We are not able to show a photo of every item in every colour option as that would be 1000's of combinations.  Please reach out if you can't find the combo you are looking for and we can see about finding a photo that will help you make your selection.
